He currently sits on the Boards of the Institute for Jewish and Community Research and of CLAL: The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership. In the past, he served as Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee and is a member of the Executive. A past President of the United Jewish Appeal (UJA), he served as its National Chairman and National Vice Chairman.  A member of The Jewish Agency's Board of Governors from 1993 and past Chair of the Board of Governors, Richie is an Honorary Board Member since 2011. <hr />Where Your Funds Go: The power of philanthropy to support and rebuild Israeli society is immeasurable, as witnessed this past year, and the Jewish Agency for Israel has been at the forefront serving Israel and Jewish communities world-wide.   But Richie's impact on the organization and the people of Israel dates back decades.   From when he served as chairman in 2007 to today where his dedication and commitment have ensured our continued service to the people of Israel.   Further evidence of this is Richie's vision to establish a first-ever program to identify and build a network of Israeli philanthropists to expand the reach and depth of Israeli philanthropy and innovation, maximizing our collective impact.  To that end, the funds raised at the May event will support this groundbreaking program.   <hr />About the Max M.
