Required Meet &amp; Greet Night:We will host a meet &amp; Greet at Level Up this fall. &nbsp;We ask that ALL families attend to get an idea about rules and expectations of this club. &nbsp;Please keep an eye out for an email with more information. How Club Rides Work: Club Rides are a community effort, dependent on parent chaperones. The club will meet up and divide into groups depending on skill and where we feel like riding that night. Each group will have a radio for communication. There are no formal lessons. This is for riders to get on the slopes with friends, and have fun! Please arrive at 4:30 on January 7th, so that we can go over expectations, rules, etc. &nbsp;For the rest of club, meet up will be 4:45. You don&#39;t have to chaperone every week. If a parent doesn&#39;t ski or snowboard, we can accommodate them. This club is about inclusion. &lt;3 All riders are expected to be able to load and unload the chairlift without assistance, on day one. If you haven&rsquo;t mastered the lift yet, we strongly recommend getting some time on the slopes before club starts. FUNDRAISING EVENTS: These events are how we directly raise funds for our Snow Sponsorships, and they are SO fun! Please join us, and if you can volunteer, let us know! OPTIONAL FIELD TRIPS &amp; EVENTS (Dates TBD): Hurricane Ridge- Ski hurricane all day, followed by a pool party in the hotel in Port Angeles! Mission Ridge Day- We&rsquo;ll hop in the ski shuttle, and go ride Mission for the day!!! Date TBD Summit Parks Events- &nbsp;We highly encourage KCSSC members to participate in events at the Summit. &nbsp;We will keep you updated, and cover members registration fees for the events! We expect members of the club to be there every Wednesday night, on time. Life gets in the way sometimes, and that is understandable. However, respect is one of our rules, and that includes participation. No-shows, no-calls, and late arrivals cause major inconveniences for the rest of the club. Tardiness cuts into ride time. It&#39;s also unfair to other families who have commuted all the way up to the pass to find no one else ready to ride. We will not be waiting for late comers. Make the Wednesday Night commitment, and be there on time, ready for some fun! SKI SHUTTLE Ski shuttle will leave from Cle Elum Safeway overflow parking at 3:55 on the dot. This gives the shuttle extra travel time in case of extreme winter driving conditions, as well as gives riders time to get their rentals if need be. The ski shuttle will pick riders up at 7:55 and return back to the Cle Elum Safeway. A chaperone will keep track of shuttle riders each night to be sure everyone gets back on at the end of the night.
