Camp NAWIC Camper Registration

Camp NAWIC is for girls entering 7th - 9th grades to introduce them to a potential career in the construction industry. Many young girls are unaware of the possibility of a rewarding and financially beneficial career in the construction trades or related fields. Camp NAWIC is designed to give them real hands-on experiences.For 5 days, the campers will be exposed to a variety of trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishing. There will be both classroom and hands on activities. This year’s camp will take place July 14-18, 2025 from 8:00am to 5:00 pm at Associated Builders and Contractors, located at 1600 E Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23228. This is a no-cost camp (however we are asking the campers to provide their own lunch). The girls will be working in teams to create a unique build with our trade partners and community volunteers, while learning about many peripheral aspects of the industry such as safety, design, and estimating.
