About Paint it Orange The Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC) and Orange County Arts Alliance (OCAA) will host the 9th Annual Paint it Orange Plein Air Paint-out Fundraiser October 1 - October 3, 2025. Local and visiting artists will experience the beauty, charm, and rich history of Orange County by painting en plein air (in open air), capturing sites unique to our region.&nbsp; Artists will submit ONE&nbsp;of their favorite paintings for juroring on Friday, October 3 at the Thomas Stevens Gallery in Hillsborough. A preview for artists and sponsors will take place from 5-6pm. The awards party starting at 6pm at Yonder Southern Cocktails and Brew will be followed by the Wet Paint Sale, in which the submitted paintings will be available for sale to the general public. The exhibit will be on display through Saturday, November 8th. Last year&#39;s paint-out was a great success, drawing more than 120 artists and featuring over 180 works of original fine art. On Thursday, October 2, from 6 to 9 p.m., the planning committee will host the Harvest Moon Party at Eno River Brewing, featuring food, drinks, and live music for artists and sponsors. Artists will receive one meal voucher (worth $15 at a food truck) and two beverage vouchers at check in. Please RSVP for yourself and additional people attending the party with you.
