2025 Riparian Bird Workshop

The California Central Coast Chapter, in collaboration with the Southern California Chapter, will be hosting a workshop featuring riparian birds. This workshop will focus on birding by ear and museum specimens. Emphasis will be placed on the natural history, identification (visual and audio), and status of least Bell's vireo, yellow warbler, willow flycatchers, and yellow-breasted chat.

Workshop Fee includes meals and camping (bring your own tent and sleeping gear*) on a beautiful property in Northern Ventura County. Three private bedrooms are available in a restored historic home, on-site, for an additional fee ($200/night). Binoculars required.*

To ensure the success of the workshop and to foster a collaborative learning environment, full attendance and on-site presence are mandatory for all participants. This includes being present for the entire duration of the workshop and remaining on site for all scheduled sessions and activities. Please plan accordingly to avoid any conflicts or interruptions during the workshop period.

All registrations for this workshop are non-refundable; however, they are transferable to another individual at no additional cost, provided that the request is made in writing at least 48 hours before the workshop begins. Please note that changes to dietary preferences or accommodation type may not be accommodated for last-minute transferred registrations. The workshop will be held rain or shine.
