In this musical play for young actors in grades K-5, the Armstrong family will make new friends, learn new languages, experience new cultures, and learn about Arctic animals and environmental resources! Show background and teaching team info:This play was written by Miners Alley's Director of Education, Dr. Heather Beasley, with music composed by Joel Paszkowski. Dr. Beasley recently spent a month in the Arctic region as a Polar STEAM arts educator. Her cultural and scientific experiences in Greenland and the surrounding Arctic waters form the real-life basis for this story. These two co-creators will be joined by experienced youth educator Sam Webb to team-direct the West Woods production.
