Once certified, active members are required to use their talents to educate others or assist programs that promote and protect Louisiana&rsquo;s natural heritage.&nbsp; Workshops typically have a balance between field time and classroom time and often require a lot of walking through wooded areas. We strive to create unique, hands-on opportunities in nature, guided by the top environmental experts in our area.&nbsp; To earn a naturalist certification, participants are required to complete 8 of 10 workshops (in full), an exam and a pre-approved special project.&nbsp; Upon completing this form and paying the program fee, your application will be accepted for the 2025 program. Once we have received 20 forms, we will stop taking applications.
