The Colebrook, CT Recreation Board will establish all rules and regulations for the September 5, 2026 Cow Plop Bingo Fundraiser. 2. The Cow Plop Bingo event will take place at the 81st&nbsp;Annual Colebrook Fair on September 5, 2026 on the Colebrook, CT Baseball Field on Cooper Lane, a grid will be marked off in equally sized square &lsquo;land parcels&rsquo; for a total of 160 &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo; squares. The field grid (and cow) will be protected by a barrier or fence. Spectators and &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo; square holders must not interfere with the progress of the event. 3. Up to 160 &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo; tickets will be sold by the Colebrook Recreation Board for $20.00 per &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo; square. &lsquo;Land parcel&rsquo; square tickets will be sold in numerical order and ticket numbers will be randomly assigned to a &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo;. &nbsp;A poster noting &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo; ticket numbers and square assignments will be on display at the Snack Shack prior to the Cow Chip Bingo event starting. 4. Absolutely no &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo; square tickets will be sold after 12:30 PM on September 5, 2026 5. Winner will be awarded a cash prize equal to 20% of ticket sales. 6. &nbsp;At 1:00 pm on September 5, 2026 a cow will be led into the designated grid area by Pinney Stables and allowed to freely roam within the grid area until the first cow pie or &ldquo;plop&rdquo; (NOT cow pee) is placed by the cow on a square. If the cow has not placed a cow pie within 2 hours (by 3:00pm on September 5, 2026), the prize money will be awarded via raffle drawing at 3:10 p.m. 7. There will be at least one designated line judge working the event who will determine the winner. The line judge is not able to participate in the event as to keep them totally impartial to any outcomes. The decision of the designated line judge, with respect to the Cow Pie Bingo event winner(s), is final. 8. &nbsp;If the cow pie lands on bordering &lsquo;land parcels&rsquo; (crossing the line connecting the squares), the prize money will be divided equally among the ticket holders of all affected &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo; squares REGARDLESS of the volume on each parcel. The event judge has final say in determining the winning square(s). 9. &nbsp;If the cow pie lands on a square that is unsold (in the event that tickets for all 160 &lsquo;land parcel&rsquo; squares do not sell), the winner will be the closest &ldquo;sold&rdquo; square or squares immediately adjacent to and sharing at least one full side with the unnumbered, unsold square. This could end up being more than one winner (up to, but not to exceed, 4 winners) who would share in the prize money equally. 10. &lsquo;Land parcel&rsquo; square holders need not be present to win. 11. The winner will be recognized at the conclusion of the Cow Plop Bingo fundraiser. If the winner is not present, the winner will be notified by phone and/or email and will then have 30 days to claim the prize money. Unclaimed prize monies will become the property of the Colebrook Recreation Board. 12. The event will proceed on September 5, 2026 rain or shine. If there is severe weather that prevents the event from occuring safely at 1:00pm on September 5, 2026 the Cow Plop Bingo event will be canceled.
