She is the lead author of Orton-Gillingham for the K–2 Classroom: Weekly Guide and Universal Assessment, Second Edition.Amy speaks regularly at national conferences about effective district-wide training and the importance of aligning classroom assessment and instruction. Amy was instrumental in adapting the Stern Center’s Orton-Gillingham Institute to be a leader in online OG training. Amy has worked as a literacy coach, reading interventionist, and a kindergarten teacher for over a decade. She also has extensive experience as an early education provider. Amy holds a master’s degree in Education from Southern New Hampshire University. She has also worked as an adjunct professor of literacy courses, supervisor of practicum students, and provider of support to other adjunct professors at American International College. Donna joined the Keys to Literacy team in 2012 and is a national Consultant/Trainer for all of the Keys to Literacy professional development courses, serving diverse groups of educational leaders, coaches, and teachers using in-person and virtual delivery formats. She supports school administration teams with planning and supporting the implementation of professional development initiatives, and supports teachers through model lessons, observations, and coaching sessions.
