Join the EHS Mountain Bike Team for our 5th annual Mountain Bike Film Fest!&nbsp;Doors open at 5:30 pm for silent auction, games, and refreshments. The film will start at 7:00 pm. &ldquo;Ride to Resilience&rdquo;, is a powerful documentary about Steve Vanderhoek, his mental health journey, mountain biking, and the quiet strength it takes to carry on.*This is an emotional and powerful 2 hour film about love &amp; hope and covers topics of death, suicide, trauma, and contains adult language.*It premiers in Vancouver at the end of March and has 2 sold out shows already.&nbsp;Our team proudly supports the NEW Bike Tech Program coming to EHS this fall. Proceeds from our silent auction will contribute to outfitting the new Bike Tech room and launching this amazing program.&nbsp; CLASS DESCRIPTION:Project Bike Tech is a hands-on, credit earning high school elective that teaches STEM concepts and career skills through bicycle mechanics. Students learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain bikes while applying principles of physics and engineering. The course also includes workplace safety training, and students can earn an industry recognized entry level bike mechanic certification, a Career Technical Education (CTE) credential, and a Wilderness First Aid certification.This course may also open the door for other leadership classes in the future.
