A bowl of square cookies with black seeds sits in the upper right corner of a dark, textured background with gold lettering that reads "FUNDRAISER DINNER 2026" and scattered gold glitter.

Join us for an evening of food, generosity, and community in support of Triple Gem of the North and the Metta Meditation Center. For many years, a building on North Chestnut Street in downtown Chaska has held a quiet, welcoming space for anyone who came looking for it. Some come every week. Some come once, sit for an hour, and carry something home with them. Teachers have taught there, friendships have formed there, and more than a few people have taken their first uncertain steps into practice in that room. Two years ago, we replaced all the windows. We've also done occasional repairs along the way, but now it's time for a new roof. It's not the most inspiring thing to raise money for. But the roof is what keeps the room dry, and the room is what keeps the welcome open. Caring for it is its own kind of practice. Saturday, October 3, at Brick City Banquet, Chaska Community Center.
