Nancy Ruppert is a First Coast artist whose work is deeply inspired by the beauty, character, and sense of place found along Florida’s beaches. A longtime Atlantic Beach resident who grew up near the pier, Nancy began studying watercolor in Asheville, North Carolina, in the early 2000s and has continued to explore art as a joyful, creative practice. Her work celebrates familiar coastal scenes, local landmarks, and the places and people that make the First Coast special. A former middle school math teacher, Nancy believes art is a multigenerational experience that brings people together and brings joy. She regularly shares her work through local art events, including Atlantic Beach Art in the Park and the Atlantic Beach Artisan’s Faire.
