Welcome to the first auditions of Haven Gray Community Theater. This year we will be performing &quot;The Dead Don&#39;t Sing: Pirate Musical.&quot;&nbsp; The dead don&#39;t sing. The sea is cursed. And anyone who sails too far from the coast never returns. This is the world in which Amaryllis Morwood lives. And yet, Amaryllis dreams of what might be on the other side of the sea. Her dreams seem ludicrous until the day a captain appears who claims to be able to sail folks across the cursed sea. Can anything be done when the locals talk of hanging this captain? &nbsp;Join us for an adventurous pirate musical, filled with original scores, ghosts, and murder.&nbsp; This musical has three types of characters: (1) those who sing, dance, and play instruments, (2) those who sing and dance, and (3) extras, who have a few lines, but do not sing or dance. When you register for the auditions, you will receive a &quot;Thank you&quot; email. Several weeks before the auditions you will receive a character list and an abbreviated copy of the script to get an idea of the characters for which you may wish to audition.&nbsp; We are also looking for volunteers to help make sets, run sound and lights, organize/make costumes, and serve as stage crew.
