The 2026 Jefferson County Human Trafficking Summit brings together professionals and community partners from across Colorado for two days of learning, collaboration, and practical strategies to strengthen our collective response to human trafficking. Coordinated by the Jeffco Connections Human Trafficking Subcommittee, the Summit will feature local and national experts, survivor leaders, investigators, advocates, prosecutors, medical professionals, human services professionals, educators, and nonprofit partners working across prevention, identification, investigation, prosecution, victim support, and long-term recovery. Attendees can expect plenary presentations, real-world case studies, panel discussions, and breakout sessions exploring topics such as emerging trafficking trends, technology-facilitated exploitation and sextortion, labor trafficking, youth and school-based prevention, medical considerations, multidisciplinary response, victim advocacy, legislation, investigative strategies, and vicarious trauma. The Summit is designed for professionals at every level of experience, whether human trafficking is a primary focus of your work or one of many issues you may encounter. Participants will leave with greater awareness of current trends, stronger multidisciplinary connections, and practical information they can bring back to their agencies, organizations, and communities. Registration is free. Lunch will be provided both days, including a vegetarian option. While we are glad to offer a vegetarian selection, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate all dietary restrictions or special meal requests. Event expenses are supported through donations received and administered by Victim Outreach Incorporated. Flatirons Church West is generously hosting the Summit and donating the event space.
