This year&rsquo;s Michigan Military &amp; Veterans Gala is presented by the National Guard Association of Michigan in partnership with the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency. It&rsquo;s the place to be.&nbsp;Up to 375 Michigan veterans, service members and advocates are expected to gather in Detroit for our sixth annual Gala. State executives, policymakers and military-connected personnel of just about every rank and era, along with their significant others, will enjoy a regal night of eating, drinking, dancing and celebrating our patriots. Honor our veterans.&nbsp;The night features a formal presentation of awards to our veterans, service members and those who advocate for them. We&rsquo;ll honor a Veteran of the Year, a Veteran-Friendly Volunteer of the Year, our Army and Air National Guard members and others for their exemplary service.
