About this shop
This project has proven to be effective to senior adults in different ways. Not only does the goat provide milk for them, but it also creates a sense of purpose for them as they have the responsibility of tending to the goat.
Access to fresh, clean water is still a challenge for many families. With no water line to connect their house to, they are forced to walk long distances just to get whatever water they can carry. This "water tank/guttering" combination system will catch rain water and store it so they can have direct access from their homes.
Creating a level and smooth surface for vehicles and people to access the pond area is needed.
With the pond nearing completion, R.O.A.R.'s land development is coming along!
The next stage is adding a new fence. You can help add a foot to the length of the fence for just $25.
This covers the cost for six women to participate. There are currently two groups taking this course.
While their mothers are learning to read, the children are listening to Bible stories and participating in arts and crafts activities. This covers the cost of one day's snacks and activities.
This provides a child at DBLCH with a new set of clothes, undergarments, socks, and shoes.
Partners in Tanzania continued to see the Lord moving in mighty ways as new congregations gather and churches are being built. The church members give of their time to make the cement blocks and build the walls, but resources are needed for the tin roofs to complete construction.
The pond on the R.O.A.R. property is currently being developed. The next steps includes a boardwalk and a walkway.
These paving blocks for the walkway are $15/sq ft.
