Dress Code: Semi-formal attire. Students can wear: party dress, dress shirt, dress pants and shoes. NO shorts, jeans, t-shirts, or flip flops. Transportation: Due to past experiences of unsafe conditions, limousines or any other special mode of transportation will not be allowed to transport students to and from the 8th grade dance. Attendance: Only Warwick Valley Middle School 8th grade students are allowed to attend the formal. Students MUST attend school on the day of the dance. Eligibility: During the months of May and June, student discipline files are reviewed. Students who are ineligible, as determined by the administration, may not attend the 8th grade formal unless accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. As per the code of conduct, “any student who has had multiple discipline referrals and/or had served a day of ISD or OSS ten school days prior to the day of the dance or absent the day of the dance, will be excluded from attending that dance as determined by the principal.”
