Borrow a Rod & Reel?

Join us on Saturday June 20th for our annual youth fishing tournament! This event is FREE to LOW residents and their immediate family. Register early as spaces are limited and&nbsp;NO late or same-day reservations will be accepted.&nbsp; A few things to keep in mind:&nbsp; - Awards will be given for the following age groups - (5 &amp; 6), (7 &amp; 8), (9 - 11), and (12 - 14).&nbsp;- Advance registration is required, we will NOT be accepting reservations on the day of the event- Participants may only fish with one pole at a time.&nbsp;- Only live bait is permitted (no artificial bait allowed). Participants must provide their own bait.&nbsp;- Fishing is for registered children only, not parents. Child will be disqualified if another is fishing for the child. For younger children (5 &amp; 6) help casting or baiting of hooks can be provided. Children should reel and bring fish to shore themselves. Let children do as much as possible without endangering another participant.&nbsp;- Fish must be brought to the weigh-in table by the child in a bucket of pond water and the fish must be kept alive. (Young children may have help carrying their bucket, but they must have at least one hand on it the entire way to the judges table)- Children must have a rod &amp; reel, live bait, and a bucket. If your child needs a rod &amp; reel to participate, please let us know at registration (a limited number of rods &amp; reels are available. We have listed a ticket option to borrow a rod/reel, please &quot;purchase&quot; a rod/reel ticket for&nbsp;EACH child in your party who needs one.
