It will be a 20 minute drive with no traffic. Although the conference will be on a weekday, expect substantial traffic, especially if we get a powder dump. Additionally, Little Cottonwood Canyon is one of the most avalanche-prone roads, so it is common that the road may be closed in the early morning while they work on clearing it. If there is snow, there is a good chance that staying in the valley will be very inconvenient, or you may miss the 7AM morning session.
