All proceeds directly support our chapter and the K-12 Academy Music programs - so every runner, walker, and stroller-pusher is helping keep music thriving at The Academy. The Essentials Date: Saturday, September 11, 2026 Start Time: 9:00 AM (staggered by wave,&nbsp;see below) Check-in Opens: 8:00 AM Location: The Academy&rsquo;s main campus Check-in: In the west parking lot near the trail, pick up your bib and t-shirt here Course: Starts on the Bradburn Trail (just across the open space from campus), heads east and then north to the Metzger Farms trail, and loops back to The Academy, a full 5K Your Wave You selected your wave when you registered. If you want to change waves, email us anytime up to 48 hours before the race. Wave 1 (~9:00 AM): Runners who want to go for it, timed by &quot;gun time,&quot; with placement medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wave 2 (~9:05 AM): Casual runners and joggers Wave 3 (~9:15 AM): Family walk wave,&nbsp;strollers and dogs welcome (and only permitted in this wave) What You&rsquo;ll Get on Race Day Bib and official Wildcat 5K t-shirt at check-in Water and Gatorade at the halfway point and at the finish line A finisher&rsquo;s medal for every participant who crosses the line Snacks, photos, and live music from Tri-M students at the finish-line party Note: This is a casual, community race,&nbsp;no chip timing on bibs.
