Dr. Khaled and Mrs. Amal Khalaf, Joe & Kirin Wells are co-chairs with Courtney Zavalaas emcee for the Senior Prom Gala: Back to the Future on September 15, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Enjoy a spectacular evening reliving your senior prom or experiencing your first one with a reception serving premium cocktails, 3-course dinner, powerful speech by mega influencer of Instagram, Joan MacDonald (@trainwithjoan), silent / live auction. Dance the night away to a cover band with special performance by Speak Easy Band from Baton Rouge. Dress code is 80's Prom attire. This year’s event is our big leap from an annual jazz brunch to what will become our signature Senior Prom Gala since our launched in 2017
The Great Age Movement is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizationlaunched and proclaimed by the City of Houston in 2017. Our mission is to create innovative community wellness programs for seniors in public spaces. We aim to build Great Age Fitness Parks for seniors in green spaces and senior workout programs in museums run by our trained volunteers in Houston and surrounding areas.
Our organization is operated by volunteers. All donations go directly to our community programs.
Listed below are details for sponsorship packages that support our capital campaign to provide indoor and outdoor community opportunities for seniors including the following :
1. Third Great Age Fitness Park™ in Houston with 21 fitness stations
2. Expansion of our Senior Art & Exercise program; a mobile workout at The Health Museum and future local museums
