Tool School: Drywall RepairJoin us to strengthen your skills and independence! Get your hands dirty as we dive into the world of tools at Tool School for the Home.<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Practical, guided activities that will boost basic hand and power tool usage</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Focus on safety and efficiency</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Interactive learning with experienced guidance</li></ul>This workshop features a small group session with hands-on activities that teach basic home maintenance skills. After safe and proper hand and power tool practice, attendees will leard how build a shelf, learn how to hang it, and then learn how to repair small drywall holes. The Houston ToolBank provides all relevant tools, equipment, and materials for the workshop, including protective gear. ***Please take special note of the following policies that are strictly enforced and non-negotiable.***<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">All participants will be required to sign a photo release and liability waiver.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Any individual under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver before they will be permitted to participate.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants under the age of 14 are required to have parental supervision during the entire course of the workshop.</li></ul>For any questions, reach out to nancy.clippard@toolbank.org Additional relevant details will be sent via email in advance.
