The SCNG Inspector General's Office will conduct inspector training from 0900-1130 Wednesday 11/13/2024 at the TAG Building auditorium located at 1 National Guard Road, Columbia, SC 29201. This training will educate inspectors and potential inspectors on inspection techniques, procedures, and documents. It will also familiarize inspectors and potential inspectors with inspection requirements thus enabling commands to identify “sustains”, systemic issues, performance inhibitors, and deficiencies along with their root causes while evaluating themselves, developing "get well plans", and monitoring continuous process improvement. This training enables battalion and brigade commands to build a pool of trained inspectors who can conduct staff assistance visits, readiness assistance visits, and other inspection-related visits necessary to thoroughly evaluate readiness of lower echelons while identifying methods to increase readiness.
