She is an enthusiastic community and political activist. When her youngest son died in a vehicle accident almost three years ago, she and her family became involved in a restorative justice process with the driver, facilitated by CVCJ. After many meetings, Sarah finally came to understanding, forgiveness and a compassionate agreement with the driver. She is now an avid advocate for RJ’s ability to heal individuals and communities.
