Join Halen and the horses for an online yoga session and chance to get to know more about the Hold Your Horses farm and mission. Halen will be leading this session from the HYH farm with horses and beautiful farmland in the background. This 30 minute session will offer mindfulness techniques, yoga, and a chance for connection with the HYH community. She soon realized that yoga also helped ease her busy mind, made her a more aware and present person, and did wonders to support her mental health. In 2010, Halen completed her 200 hour training with Frog Lotus International in Guatemala and has been traveling with yoga ever since. She has taught yoga in Switzerland, Alaska, California, Minnesota, and Vermont. Halen currently teaches for Mind Body Solutions, and has additional training in restorative, adaptive, and yin yoga. She has also been a children’s yoga instructor since 2011, and works as a child therapist. Halen approaches yoga as a way to balance strength and flexibility in the body, to cultivate a more peaceful mind, and to encourage curiosity and self-compassion.
