Brief Q and A with the Artists (~15 min)

Allison-Yoshie Eldredge, Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient and Musical America's Artist of the Year, is Artist-in-Residence of The Allen Center. As Founder of Cherry Street Players, Allison-Yoshie Eldredge is bringing prominent musicians, special guests and the rising generation of Artists from Boston and beyond to share great classical music of the world and other genres including pop, broadway and jazz and  bridge history with present socially-relevant culture throughout the concert season at the historical homestead, The Allen Center.

Our "classical with a twist" concerts have a less formal setting with conversation between Artists and special guests, and audience members and a brief Q & A with the Artists in the Great Hall of The Allen Center. Audiences will also experience the visionary educational history and beauty of the 1840 Nathaniel Allen Homestead as the artistic home of Cherry Street Players.

In the historic intimate setting of The Allen Center, Cherry Street Players invites friends and families to gather with new people in a musical spirit of togetherness, passion, and hope and experience evenings of exciting and fun music by great Artists from Boston and beyond!

Free limited parking available onsite as well as at the nearby lot of Family Access of Newton on 492 Waltham Street.
