Funds generated from memberships and our Historic Tour of Homes go directly to preservation efforts and promotion thereof:

• We fund a grant program that allocates $2000 annually to completed projects that have promoted stabilization, renovation and/or preservation of historical structures within Independence County.
• We host engaging events through our annual Block Party that serves as an appreciation of our members' contributions. 
• We are actively working on educational programming on our website that will engage users with the historic district.
• Our annual awards ceremony recognizes the preservation efforts of patrons and businesses alike. 
• We distribute informational pamphlets that encourages residents and tourists to engage with historic downtown Batesville.
