Join us for Palouse Choral Society&rsquo;s 26&ndash;27 season! Our fall concert series, An American Dream, will features two new major compositions, &quot;Redeem the Dream,&quot; inspired by Langston Hughes&#39; poem on the promises of American equality, and &quot;US,&quot; based on Richard Haass&#39; The Bill of Obligations. We&#39;ll be joined by a 26-player orchestra. The program is rounded out by classic anthems of hope, and a piece from one of our composition contest winners.&nbsp; Our December Rejoice in the Light will take listeners on a global musical journey with PCS&#39;s Youth Choir, Chamber Choir, and Symphonic Choir. We&#39;ll celebrate the light, warmth, and joyous heritage of winter carols alongside evocative contemporary choral works like Morten Lauridsen&#39;s O Nata Lux.&nbsp; In March, our Chamber and Youth choirs will perform Hope Lingers On in Moscow and Lewiston. This intimate program highlights expressive, reflective works primarily by women composers, including Clara Schumann, Amy Beach, and Elaine Hagenberg.&nbsp; Symphonic Choir will return to the stage in full force for a season finale program, Walk in Beauty, Walk in Light. 130+ voices will join together in Haydn&#39;s celebratory Nicolaimesse, paired with Judy Rose&#39;s uplifting title work. We thank you for sustaining choral music on the Palouse for the whole year!
