The mission of The Pittsburgh Therapy Project is to reduce the barriers to mental health treatment and increase the quality of life for community members. We strive to help the Steel City bridge the gap and strengthen vulnerable populations through access to care and resources.
The Premier Psychotherapy team is working hard to make this fund a reality for the community of Pittsburgh. This fund is to aid those who are experiencing barriers outside of their control to obtain the help that they need. There are many reasons that an individual may not be able to receive therapeutic services, such as a child placed in foster care has a very specific insurance that the majority of specialists are not able to accept. This fund will open doors for vulnerable populations to receive the help they need to live fuller, happier, and healthier lives.
Pittsburgh Therapy Project is teaming up with The Rivers Club to collect toys to donate to local children in need of extra holiday cheer. The team has been in contact with other nonprofit organizations, such as Foster Love Project to connect with local families.
