Created on Instagram and with simple apps and designed in collaboration with his daughter, photographer Bella Klein, Petronio Players brings to life invented characters that inhabit a new kind of playing card deck, one comprised of suits of characters in morphing stages of identity and gender to replace the more conventional notion of a card “suit”.
