July 28th, 2024 join us for Ladies only Fishing Workshop!

at Bristol Fish & Game, 700 Beecher Rd, Wolcott, CT 06716

Workshop will run from 10am - 3pm, lunch will be provided!

All ages welcome, $10 per ticket.

**We will have poles/gear available onsite for use if you do not own your own. If you do have gear, bring it with you and we will help you get it set up!**

Topics will include - 

- Casting Lessons & Rod/Reel types - we will put them to use later in the day in the pond 

- Knot Tying basics 

- Species identification for local place, time of day, seasons 

- Where to fish - if you’re on a body of water, shore vs boat, what to look for and what time of year 

- Lures, Bait, and when to use what and what different types of fish tend to bite on 

- SAFETY 

- Local resources! - BOW, Fish & Game, Communities like ADC & more!
