◾️ H I S T O R Y │ STATEHOOD DAY
In 1463, the Bosnian kingdom was conquered by the Ottoman Empire. Almost 500 years later, the State Anti-fascist Council for the National Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Resolution of ZAVNOBiH on November 25, 1943, in Mrkonjić Grad.
The resolution declared Bosnia and Herzegovina as an independent state and expressed that the country shall experience the same rights as the other five Yugoslav republics while promoting full equality between its many different ethnic groups.
