A huge part of her life’s work is about exploring how humans make connections across cultures. Her art reflects a collaboration of perspectives on race, sexuality, nature and body image. She hopes that her work inspires inquiry on how these identity markers connect us to an ecological responsibility for healing and that each of us has an immense power to make positive changes within and all around us. She has worked for years in collaboration with communities across North Carolina, co-creating learning spaces to advocate for food justice, public health and environmental justice.
