Care Sphere is excited to host its first annual Gingerbread House Contest! 

Please join us in showcasing your creative gingerbread artistry! Submit your gingerbread house already made, or join us with your kits for a day of fun, creating your gingerbread houses on-site with us. Your submissions can be anything from made from scratch to commercially available kits, just make them your own unique expression. This contest is open to all ages, however we do have three separate categories:

13 and under
14 and older
Professional and Commercial Sponsorships

Share your entry's link or QR code with friends, family, and your social network, where they will be able to make a donation on your entry's page. Entries receiving the highest donations will be awarded prizes. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the non-commercial categories. Additionally, each category, will have an award for People's Choice. For this contest, we do require your gingerbread houses to be at our location, with finalists being announced shortly on Sunday, following Colfax's Winterfest event.

Submissions are not to be used for consumption, so we aren't limiting the materials you use. However, there is a size limit. For both of the age categories, please keep your entries to a maximum of 10" long, 8" wide, and 12" high. For our commercial level sponsors, 14" long, 10" wide, and 16" high.

Important dates and times:

December 7                    - 11 AM to 4 PM    Join us at Care Sphere for a day of decorating.
December 7 - 9               - 11PM to 6 PM      Drop off for additional entries.
December  14                  - 12 PM to 8 PM     City of Colfax Winterfest event. People's Choice judging. Contest closes at 7 PM.
December 15                  - 5 PM                      Contest winners are announced and will be contacted to arrange prize pick up.
December 16-17            - 3 PM to 6 PM        Gingerbread house entries may be picked up between these hours. Please contact us any time to make other arrangements.
