Zeffy is a free fundraising platform that does not charge transaction fees to nonprofits or donors. Instead, Zeffy relies on voluntary contributions to cover its costs.
When a donor makes a donation through Zeffy, they are asked if they would like to make an additional contribution to help cover Zeffy's costs. This contribution is completely optional, and donors can choose to give any amount they wish.
When making your contribution, under the Donation section, if you do not wish to make a donation to Zeffy, select "Other" and input "0".
If a donor chooses not to make an additional contribution, their donation will still go directly to the nonprofit organization they are supporting. Zeffy does not take any percentage of the donation.
Zeffy's model allows 100% of donations to go directly to the nonprofits that need them most. This is in contrast to other fundraising platforms, which often charge service and transaction fees that are paid in part by the donor's donation.
