SRQVETS is proud to present the 1st Annual GHOULFEST POKER RUN happening on 26 October 2024. This is a fundraising event benefiting SRQVETS and its local outreach in the veteran community. 

    The Poker Run will begin with registration at 0800-0900 at the DAV post #97, at 7177 Bee Ridge Road. Registration will be $20 for the driver of a vehicle and passengers who are playing will pay $15 a hand, up to 3 passengers per vehicle, and only for that vehicle. A breakfast truck will be serving their menu of great food, including S.O.S., biscuits, and gravy, and plenty of coffee will be on location. 

 The event will start with a 0900am departure to the following areas/stops on the route of your choice and order.

-- Red Barn Bar at 2058 Bee Ridge Rd.

-- American Legion Post# 266 at 5201 Richardson Rd.

-- American Legion Post# 30 at 4501 N. Lockwood Ridge Rd

-- Adrenaline Harley Davidson at 330 Cattleman Rd.

and finishing at Salty Jim's at 3655 Webber St. The Last vehicle in is at 12:30 pm THIS IS A HARD TIME!!!  This location will also be the spot for the MULLIGAN CARD BUY in. If you feel you need another card to make the best hand possible, then they will be for sale for $10, but only one card per entrant. 

   ANYONE ARRIVING AFTER 12:30:01pm WILL NOT HAVE THEIR POKER HAND COUNT or CONSIDERED!!! The time will be official by the director's phone time display ONLY!!!!!  ONLY A HARD COPY TICKET WITH THE DAY, DATE AND TIME STAMP WILL BE ALLOWED AS AN EXCUSE! Please don't get a ticket!!

   Each location will have 2 games of skill/luck that participators will be able to try for $1 a chance. The proceeds will also go to SRQVETS. There will be prizes for BEST ADULT COSTUME, BEST UNDER 18 COSTUME, BEST HAND, WORST HAND, and BEST DECORATED VEHICLE. All normal poker rules will apply to the hands turned in. 

   There will be a 50/50 raffle at the registration location and final stop ONLY!!

  T-shirts will be available for the first 100 EARLY BIRD registrations and will be available for sale at the registration and card turn-in. 

   Registrations will be done through, online registration, QR Code, and the morning of the Poker Run at the DISABLED AMERICAN VETERAN'S POST#97.
