Missaukee Lake Association: A non-profit voluntary dues organization whose purpose is to promote and protect the environmental integrity of the lake through education, safety promotion, quality initiatives and public awareness. 

Your membership supports Lake Missaukee in many ways: 

MLA coordinates Water Quality testing three times per year to help monitor lake health and areas or concern. This testing is critical to keeping the water clean and clear.  

MLA promotes safety initiatives such as the Summer Swim Program for youth swim lessons. 

MLA works with the community to support educational programs in the schools. 

MLA keeps a watchful eye on the overall health of Lake Missaukee to continually promote and protect it's long-term environmental integrity. 

YOUR MEMBERSHIP PROVIDES YOU WITH BENEFITS: 

MLA members are kept informed on all issues regarding lake health and lake treatment for invasive species. 

MLA members can participate in the Garage Sale by Email program, allowing for member - to - member sales. 

MLA members receive a subscription to The Michigan Riparian magazine published by Michigan Lakes & Streams Association focused on Michigan lakes and waterways. 

MLA members receive timely email updates with information about Lake Missaukee. 

MLA members can meet other members at the annual meeting and at community service events such as the Landing Blitz where the CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY message is shared with boaters to help stop the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS).
