We take program inspirations from past and present Nordic Cultures and translate them into unique and relevant American experiences.

We encourage you to share your ideas with us. 

YOU participate in and enjoy the programming                                                                                                                            In 2023 as the pandemic subsided, a total of 2391 adults and youth attended Nordic Center events; a 50% increase from 2022. Recently a viewer who watched Natalie Norman’s Swedish Folkdräkt Fantasy video wrote this response: “I'd love to have live streamed courses and materials list to properly share this and express this beautiful part of my heritage!”

YOU support us through memberships, donations and sales                                                                                                      30 percent of the Nordic Center’s income in 2023 came from memberships, donations, artist and ticket sales and workshops. Artists, performers, educators and the Nordic Center depends on and values your generous financial support 

YOU stay informed                                                                                                                                                      Programming plans for the coming year are posted on our newly updated website https://nordiccenterduluth.org/, Facebook and Instagram pages. You will find dates and times of exhibits, workshops, concerts, folk dances, language classes, author talks, and the monthly book club pick. Coming in April 2025, a fun-filled fundraising event. 

RENEW NOW! The first 50 memberships will receive discounted tickets to the 2025 Duluth-stämma Folk Music and Dance Festival, June 13-14. Please help us reach our membership goal and keep the rewards of the Nordic Center experience available for our broader community.
