Mardi Gras has gone to the dogs! Our furry friends are the center of this parade with their humans acting as their escorts! Let your baby be part of the celebration in their Mardi Gras attire as you parade them through Willis Park in Historic Downtown Bainbridge. We will be giving 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for best costume. Registration begins at 9:30 and parade starts at 10:00. Please bring a food donation for the Humane Society! Rules for PAW-rade--Animals must be in costume or decorated in some way to paw-ticipate.--Animals must be current on their vaccinations.--Animals must not have aggressive tendencies or need to be muzzled (remember this is a family friendly event involving other animals and children).--Animals must be on a leash and not be 'in heat”.--Escorts are encouraged to join the theme with costumes and/or floats.
