As always proceeds from this event benefit the continued preservation of the Roxbury Park Bandshell with a portion of proceeds going to the Johnstown Police K 9 Unit, Humane Society of Cambria County and Humane Society of Somerset County. The Fifteenth Annual Bandshell Bark begins with a stroll down the Red Carpet andcontinues along a route approximately 2.5 miles (4 times around the park) on arelatively level ground at Roxbury Park on Franklin Street. The walk ends with theFinish Line Festival complete with dog contests, school team spirit contest, food andrefreshments, dog photo opportunities, and vendors of pet merchandise & services.Pet Contest Categories include cutest canine, most mannered, best costume, mosttalented, best barker and longest kiss. *New Rain Date-September  30 2023
