LXCL:All participants will receive a t-shirt from the race. The funds you provide help us raise funds, encourage healthy lifestyles, and educate the community on managing Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. We will be working to provide diabetic kits to schools within middle Tennessee this year with funds raised from this race.

This year&#39;s Strides Walk will be held in Lebanon, TN at the City of Lebanon Don Fox Park. &nbsp;Parking for the event will be at the City of Lebanon Bocce Ball court behind Family Eye Med (404 N Castle Heights Ave # A, Lebanon, TN 37087). &nbsp;Signs will be posted for the event as you approach. &nbsp;The race will start promptly at 7am.&nbsp; Cost of registration will be $25.00 from now until April 30, 2026, after which the amount will increase to $35.00 for all registrations received from May 1 to onsite registration. Strides Walks is an event initiated in 2006 by Lions Clubs International to promote education, prevention, and research regarding diabetes. Clubs worldwide organize these walks to raise funds, encourage healthy lifestyles, and educate the community on managing Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.&nbsp; By participating in this race you agree to the following:Assumption of Risk: I know that participating in this event is a potentially hazardous activity. I assume all risks associated with running, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather (including heat/humidity), traffic, and course conditions. &nbsp;Release and Liability Waiver: I hereby for myself, my heirs, representatives, or anyone else claiming on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release, and discharge District 12-S Lions, its volunteers, and sponsors from any and all claims of liability for death, personal injury, or damage of any kind arising out of my participation. Medical Treatment Authorization: I consent to emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness. &nbsp;Usage of Likeness: I authorize District 12-S Lions to use my photograph, recordings, or other likeness for promotional purposes without compensation. Acknowledgement of Understanding: I have read this document and understand that it is a release of liability and a contract, and I sign it of my own free will. Parent/Guardian Consent (for minors): The undersigned parent/guardian represents they have legal capacity to sign for the participant and agree to the waiver terms.
