In collaboration with GU's Lincoln LGBTQ+ Rights Clinic, we're bringing in 2SLGBTQIA+ identified legal experts and law students to break down for us:

What we need to know about the Supreme Court decisions of 2025

Active cases involving WA's Attorney General Nick Brown

What protections the legal system can provide us (and what it can't do)

"Know Your Rights" for protesting, interactions with ICE, etc

The second half of the meeting will focus on policy updates from Spectrum's Advocacy team, and immediate actions we can take to preserve our rights... And especially for trans people and our allies, there are some huge updates we want to pass along! 🏳️‍⚧️ This event will be reoccurring, and if you can't make this one, there is a virtual meeting on Jan 14th that will cover the same topics touched on at this meeting. We'll have another in-person meeting mid-February. ❤️ For this event:

All ages until 8PM

Free taco bar provided (first come, first serve!)

Additional food/drink available for purchase

Afterwards, stick around for amateur drag night -- 21+, sign-ups at 8PM, and drag starts at 9PM!
