These master classes feature technique and creative engagement with Stephen Petronio Company language. Each class begins with a somatic warmup focused on skeletal connectivity and activating the far edges of the body. Across-the-floor movement expands on ideas of spatial awareness, rhythm, and intricate sequencing through the spine. Each dancer is encouraged to find holistic, authentic, and fearless mobility within their body. Stephen will build a new movement on students with an eye toward new work.
