ECAC is delighted to have Getish Mamo perform live to help us celebrate 40 years and Ethiopian New Year! Getish Mamo is a gifted musician well recognized for his soul-stirring religious music. He comes from the energetic metropolis of Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. He has devoted his musical career to expressing the message of spirituality and faith via his moving works as a committed Christian.The Christian music genre, which has its roots firmly planted in Ethiopian religious traditions, includes Mamo's music as a subset. He has been able to win over listeners both domestically and abroad with his melodic voice and alluring lyrics. His music has a distinctive tone that appeals to a large audience since it combines contemporary components with traditional Ethiopian tunes.

The event will start precisely at 7pm. Join us at 6:30pm to mingle and find your seat. American food will be served followed by a short program and culminating in the concert and dancing.
