This one time, at band camp...

  • We'll have a fantastic sound set up in the lodge - but no lineup of hired bands!
(but you never know what might happen...)
  • Art installations and make your own art activities!
  • Art demonstrations / art in progress
  • A new take on Build-a-Band / Band Scramble / Band in a Hat!
  • Attendees are the stars of the weekend!
  • Campground Jams
  • Workshops and classes:
    • Instrument, Style / Technique classes / Voice?
(think Grisman Style Mandolin, Clawhammer Banjo, etc - these just examples, planning in progress!)\
    • Songwriting
  • Drums!
  • Song circle, bluegrass jams, jazz - organic campground goodness chosen by participants!
  • yoga + Sounds with Heaven and Braydon
  • Chanting with Patty and?
  • LUSH green shaded camping.
  • EVERY camping spot shaded - No need for a land rush to get a great space!
  • Our amazing (and now traditional) Thursday Dinner Potluck and other group meal opportunities!
  • More specific activity details to come. We have an amazing group of talented people in on the planning!
  • Late night fun in the Dancehall!
  • Fireside Jams every night! (pretty much 24 hours!)
  • All night campground fun nightly!
  • Shared electric available for campsites and RVs
  • Onsite Flushers and showers!
  • Food Truck
  • Community Sourced Beverage Barn
  • Kick it in the River!
  • A new ritual! Primal, but not the same as the music festival!

Please note:

  • Tickets are not refundable and may not be transferred to other events.
  • All activities are subject to change (except the dates of the event)
  • We don't recommend this event for children. This is geared towards grownups. If you have a "festival kid" who's seen it all and is supervised all the time, that's your choice. If you make this choice, everyone, no matter what their age, needs a ticket. If you need more info, feel free to get in touch.
  • In the event you are unable to attend, you may find someone else to take your spot. Get in touch up to 24 hours prior to the event via info@coloradograss.org to arrange transfer to someone else's name.
  • This is a private event which we make available to the community to allow others to immerse in the culture and creativity we celebrate as a group year round. Be kind, or you'll be asked to leave without refund and won't be allowed back.
  • When you purchase a ticket, that purchase is inclusive of membership in our community for the duration of your attendance at the event. Your purchase signifies your acceptance of the rules of membership and you understand that you are attending a private event, and that you may be asked to leave at any time.
  • No pets or animals of any kind may be brought on to the ranch/campground. The property is surrounded by working ranches. We've had visits from working farm dogs, llamas, and random livestock. There are local kennels in Berthoud, Longmont, and Loveland. Please get a sitter for your pet or make use of a kennel. If you show up with an animal, you'll be asked to leave and come back without it. No refunds issued.
No, not even emotional support animals. Please don't ask or seek an exception.
If it's impossible to leave your animal at home, stay at home with your animal.
  • The facilities are historic, built in the 1950s/60s and are not ADA compliant.
If you are disabled, please get in touch before making a purchase.
  • There is no "staff" - this is a slightly organized arts campout with some facilitation and a sound guy.
Everyone is expected to help out, clean up, keep it cool, and make it work!
    Organizers are not paid.

RV Pass - Arts & Jams Camp August 24-27 - under 21'
$50
RV Pass - under 21' Arts & Jams Camp August 24-27, 2023 This ticket allows you to bring your RV. If you need to tow it, it's an RV. Each person must also purchase a weekend pass to attend. Note: There is no sewer hookup or dump on-site. Electricity is available on a shared basis. There are many outlets, but there may not be one right where you are parked. There is limited space for RVs, so the camp host does his best to park everyone so it works. Be prepared with an extension cable and splitter so it's easy to share. Plug-ins are 30-amp style - bring a splitter to be able to share. Due to the shared nature of electricity, don't run AC. It gets nice and cool at night and there's lots of shade! There is water available for filling up, but it is also shared. You'll be able to refill as needed, but no dedicated connections. All this said - everyone cooperates well and this has always worked out for everyone! VERY limited # of RV passes sold. When they are gone, they are gone! If you are dragging your RV, you'll need to unhook and park your truck away from the RV area. No generators allowed in the main camping area. If you need to run your generator, tell us when you arrive and we can park you a little further away, in a not-too-shady spot with no house power. You'll basically be boondocking but still very close to all the activities and the stage (less than a 5 minute walk). If you need to leave the festival with your RV before Sunday, please let us know when you arrive so we can arrange for your departure. There is no re-entry with RVs.
