HerUpland Pointing Dog - AdvanceGrinnell, IA July 27 - 30, 2023 ~This is a COED camp~ Join us in Grinnell, IA, previous and future hosting grounds for the NAVHDA Invitational. The advanced camp is COED, with four scholarships available for youth boys and girls (applications due May 1, 2023).  This camp uses the NAVHDA Invitational and JGHV VGP testing requirements as a training guide, however, this camp is not specifically affiliated with any organization. This camp is eight weeks prior to the NAVHDA Invitational dates; you and your dog  will no doubt benefit from this camp based on the curriculum and experienced instructors volunteering their time for this event.  Ultimately the goal for this camp is better help you prepare yourself and your dog for the upcoming hunting season and potential testing venue. As part of learning all aspects of training and testing preparation, you will be taught and requested to assist throughout the weekend with bird catching and planting, field gunning, setting wingers, cleaning and preparing birds for dinner, amongst other tasks.
