The Gamma Iota Boulé Foundation is proud to host this annual recognition event to support our efforts for social justice, healthcare equity, and economic mobility for individuals of African descent in Greater Rochester. We understand that individuals and families of African descent have a heightened need for community support, especially regarding the social determinants of health.
Our annual event is a significant source of funds for our programmatic efforts within the Greater Rochester area. Your support empowers our ability to award academic scholarships and grants. In addition, we disseminate healthy living information; conduct food distribution programs, such as Umoja Karam: Cultural Unity Feast Celebrating “The Other Thanksgiving;” provide mentors and coaches for youth and young adults in our community; conduct youth leadership seminars; and most importantly, highlight the achievements and contributions by individuals of African descent. Your support is genuinely appreciated.
