**Pump Up the Gems for Nana** is a heartfelt initiative created by Carlisa Daniels and Eric Morgan, the mother and stepfather of Cihanna "Nana" Daniels. Cihanna was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes three years ago. She has always loved her mother's cooking, especially her favorite meal, spaghetti. After her diagnosis, adjusting to new dietary restrictions and portion control was a challenge. However, over the past year and a half, with dedication and a deeper understanding of insulin management, Cihanna has made remarkable progress in keeping her levels stable.  Now 15, Cihanna has shown incredible maturity, using her Dexcom device to monitor her blood sugar levels. Despite her efforts, there are still challenges, especially when traveling and needing more insulin than anticipated. To help her maintain her health and independence, we've decided to get her an insulin pump. Unfortunately, our insurance only covers 30% of the cost. Thanks to the generosity of friends and family from New Mexico, Maryland, Delaware, and Tennessee, we've received numerous jewelry donations to help raise funds. We've been visiting local businesses to fundraise, but we've reached the limits of our resources. That’s why we’ve chosen to hold an auction through Zeffy, a 100% free-to-use platform. Our auction features a wide array of collectibles, one-of-a-kind items, antiques, vintage pieces, and more.  We hope you find something special in this auction and know that your contribution goes towards keeping our daughter happy, healthy, and thriving.
