AIM to Connect: NAGPRA Compliance in Indiana Museums, Navigating the New Regulations

Dr. Jayne-Leigh Thomas will discuss the newly released NAGPRA regulations and how they intersect with other components of the NAGPRA law. Specifics regarding consultation with federally recognized tribes, collections management, and legal documentation will be discussed.

Dr. Jayne-Leigh Thomas has a MSc in Resource Management from Central Washington University and a PhD in Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She has been the NAGPRA Director at Indiana University since 2013.
