Summary: 

Many international businesses and NGOs operate in jurisdictions where kidnap risk to employees must be factored into crisis management planning. The aim of this presentation is to provide an overview of the kidnap for ransom (KFR) risk and the resources available to assist organizations and their crisis management teams. The discussion will include preventative measures, KFR global trends, and the role of a Response consultant.

Leads the delivery of pre-incident program development and training for clients around incidents of extortive crimes, including kidnap-for-ransom. Retired from the FBI in 2019 following a 22- year career as an investigator, instructor, negotiator, and crisis manager. Supervised the Boston Division's Joint Terrorism Task Force, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Domestic Terrorism squads.

Assisted in developing the U.S governments Hostage Recovery Fusion Cell.
